Moisture, Moisture, Moisture!

Ha, how reminiscent of the Brady Bunch days. Marsha received all the attention not only for her mild-mannered demeanor and perfectly sculpted face but she had the most luscious hair ever! Of course, not all thanks goes to Mother Nature. I would like to think that Carol Brady made sure that her girls always stayed in tip-top shape when in came to beauty.

So, in the spirit of Jan's famous one-liner, here is a recipe for retaining the moisture, moisture, moisture in your hair as a pre-treatment.

1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon of orange essential oil
1/4 teaspoon of rosemary essential oil

Separate the hair into four sections. Comb each section gently from ends to root. Apply the oil mixture using your hands or an applicator brush. Work from roots to ends. Then comb through the section for even distribution.

This treatment promotes hair growth and hair rejuvenation. Additionally, the orange essential oil acts as a conditioner for the ends of the hair. If olive oil is too heavy for your hair, simply substitute with jojoba or coconut oil.
